So fragrant when fully ripe! Be sure to leave on your counter to complete ripening - may take several days. Check for ripeness near the stem end - there should be a slight yielding to pressure. If you wait until they are fully soft on the outside, they will be brown inside, as pears ripen from the inside out.
Bosc pears are lovely on a dessert or cheese tray, or sliced into salads. They are also delicious eaten out-of-hand as a snack, or baked!
