Squash, Butternut

Some slight imperfections on the flesh of some squash, but still delicious eating! They get a bit sweeter in storage!

Butternut, with their elongated shape and smooth skin are nice and easy to peel and cube for soups, curries, etc. Or slice them in 1/2 inch thick rounds, baste with garlic-olive oil, and baked them at 400 until soft (about 20 min).
