Pear Chutney

Ingredients

2 Quarts Pears, peeled and chopped
½ C Seedless Raisins
½ C Chopped Onions
1 ½ C Brown Sugar
1 Tbs Salt
½ clove Garlic, minced
½ whole Hot Red Chili Peppers
2 ½ C Vinegar

Instructions

Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 40 minutes. Stir continuously to keep from sticking. Pour, boiling hot, into hot jars and leave 1/4 inch head space - adjust hot tops (lids). Process 10 minutes in boiling water bath. Makes 3 ½ pints.
