Pear and Maple Sauce

Ingredients
1 large Pear, ripe, cored & sliced (use d’Anjou pears for this recipe)
Ľ C Onion, finely chopped
1/3 C Maple-flavored syrup
1 Tbs Butter, melted
Ľ tsp Ginger
Instructions
In a medium bowl, combine pear, onion, syrup, butter and ginger; mix well. Spread over meat or veggies of your choice and fry, bake or barbeque.
