Jim's Sweet-Sour Yams

Ingredients

3 Yams, baked and cut into pieces
1 can Pineapple (tidbits) (approx. 20 oz)
3 Kiwi fruit
1 C Raisins
2 Tbs Butter
2 Tbs Brown sugar
1 Tbs Corn starch

Instructions

Drain liquid from pineapple and pour over cooked yams. Peel kiwi fruit, cut into quarters, length-wise, and slice thinly. In a small bowl, add the pineapple to the kiwi. In a sauce pan, mix brown sugar, corn starch, butter and raisins. Heat until brown sugar has melted. Add pineapple and kiwi fruit to the mixture and continue heating until liquid thickens. Add the yams and mix well, but gently, so as not to break them up. Continue cooking until heated throughout. Serve warm.
