Oatmeal Breakfast Bars

Ingredients

2 2/3 C Oats
1/3 C Flax seed meal
2 medium Bananas, mashed
1/3 C Vegetable oil
1/2 C dried Fruit (cranberries, raisins, etc…)
2/3 C chopped Nuts
1/2 Tbs Cinnamon
1-2 Tbs Honey
1 Egg or substitute

Note: add a small amount of water if mixture isn't moist enough.

Instructions

Combine all the dry ingredients and mix well. Add mashed bananas, egg, oil, and honey and mix well until blended and mixture is sticky. Shape dough into bars on a greased cookie sheet, making the bars about 1/3 inch thick. Bake for 15 minutes at 350°F. Serves 10.
