Vegetarian Chili with Coffee

Ingredients

2 medium-sized Onions (diced not too small) 1 Green pepper (diced not too small)
1 tsp Garlic powder 1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Sugar 1 tsp ground Pepper
1 Tbs Cocoa powder 1 large Tbs Chili powder (or to taste)
1 Tbs fresh ground Coffee 1 large can Tomato paste
1 medium-size can of Tomato sauce 1 Tbs White vinegar
2 cans of dark Kidney beans (drain and rinse) 2 C Water

Instructions

In a soup pot, add onions and green pepper, then cook about 15 minutes. Add all the dry ingredients, except the coffee grounds. Boil the grounds in a small pot with 1 cup of water for about 5 minutes. Then, pour it through a strainer and throw away the grounds. Add the tomato paste, the sauce, and water to the pot. Add the vinegar. Let it cook for about 30 minutes and then add kidney beans.
