We love chard (and other greens!) layered with other foods. The cooking juices can be poured over all for added nutrition and flavor. Use the chard recipes in the Glorious Greens category, or simply steam chard for the following combos:

1. Bed of baked or steamed yams, layer of chard, topped with veggie/tofu stir fry.
2. Bed of brown rice, layer of chard, topped with lentil curry.
3. Bed of quinoa, layer of chard, topped with steamed cod, chopped cilantro and parsley, and fresh-squeezed lemon juice.
