Parsley is one of the most commonly used herbs these days. It is delicious dried, but phenomenal when fresh. Often it is wasted as a garnish, but there are so many other ways to enjoy the refreshing taste of parsley.
Parsley is also known for its medicinal purposes such as a natural breath freshener and a diuretic. It is also thought to help with digestion and cure indigestion, as well as prevent or flush out kidney stones. Parsley is also a source of calcium, thiamine, riboflavin, potassium and iron, as well as, vitamin C, vitamin A, niacin, chlorine, phosphorus, sulphur, magnesium and silicon.
