Beet & Carrot Dip
Recipe for Category Dips, Spreads & Sauces

Ingredients
1 Beet
1 Carrot
1 Onion
1 sprig of Spring onion
1 tsp Tomato sauce
½ tsp Chilli sauce
1 tsp Sugar
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Instructions
Wash and scrub the beet. Steam or boil the beet, cool completely, and grate or chop finely. Peel the carrot and onion and grate or chop finely. Chop the spring onion and add to mixture. Beat mixture until smooth (as much as possible). In a separate bowl, add salt, sauces, sugar, and pepper and mix well. Fold in the grated vegetables and mix gently. Chill and serve with vegetable fingers or on crackers.
