Nendram Pazham Halwa (Creamy Banana Desert)

Ingredients
4 Fully ripe bananas
¼ C Sugar
¼ C Butter or Ghee
4 Cardamom pods
Instructions
Peel and slice the banana. Heat the butter and ghee (2 Tbs) in a pot. Add the banana and cook at low heat for ten minutes. When the fruit is well mashed add the sugar and cook till the sugar melts and becomes thick again. Add more butter or ghee to prevent it sticking to the pan. Add cardamom and decorate with roasted cashew nuts.
