Fabulous, healthy version of an old favourite! Try it for breakfast!
Crust:
1/2 cup macadamia nuts, ground1/4 cup coconut flakes2 Tbsp sesame seed (opt)heaping Tbsp honey
Filling:
4-5 peaches, peeled, thinly sliced1 tsp psyllium flakes (to thicken)optional thickener: 1/4 tsp calcium from North coast (seaweed derived)calcium ascorbate powder (Vitamin C) helps prevent browning
Note: crust can go on top or bottom (I like to sprinkle on frozen blueberries).
Process all crust ingredients together.
Mix, and gently stir the filling ingredients together.
Crust can go on top or bottom. (Donna also recommends sprinkling crust over frozen blueberries!)
