Multi-fruit chutney

A wonderful sweet, complex chutney to accompany roast pork or indian food.

Ingredients

1.5 lb plums
1 lb apricots
2 apples, peeled & cored
1 bunch red seedless grapes or sub raisins.
1 lb sugar
1 medium onion
1 garlic (whole pod)
.5 tsp red chili flakes
.5 tsp lemon grass (optional)
1 tsp cardamom
.5 tsp ground cloves
1.5 tsp ground ginger
.5 tsp cinnamon
.5 tsp ground allspice
.5 tsp ground coriander
1 tsp salt
1 cup vinegar

Instructions

1. Seed & cut plums & apricots in quarters.
2. Chop grapes in half & chop apple.
3. Mince onion & garlic.
4. Put all ingred. in pan except vinegar & cook on medium heat until thick.
5. Add vinegar.
6. Put in steralized canning jars & process for 20 minutes in a boiling water canner. * recipe adapted, so please adjust processing time to your altitude.
