Nutty and Fruity Super Power Bars

Ingredients
1/3 C Nut Butter
1/3 C Maple Syrup
1/4 C Oil
2 Large Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla
1/2 C Yogurt, plain or vanilla
1 Banana, peeled and mashed
1 3/4 C Whole wheat flour
1/4 C Wheat bran
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking soda
1/4 tsp Baking powder
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 Apple, peeled, cored and grated
1/2 C of your favourite fruit, chopped
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the nut butter, syrup, oil, eggs, vanilla, yogurt and banana. In a separate bowl combine the flours, wheat bran, salt, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon. Blend dry ingredients into the creamed mixture. Stir in fruit. Pour batter onto a greased 13x9x2 inch pan and spread evenly. Bake for about 35 minutes or until golden brown. Allow the bars to cool and cut into 1x4 inch bars. Wrap in plastic for a convenient and delicious snack.
