Mock Ginger Ale

When I was a child, and had a cold, my mother would warm ginger ale, stir out the bubbles, and give it to me. This is our healthy, healing version of that warming drink. You don't have to wait until you're sick, and the kids will like it too.

Instructions
Pour boiling water over a 1/4 inch slice of fresh ginger root. Allow to steep for five minutes. Sweeten with a little honey and enjoy.
