Ingredients
1 2/3 C Dates
1 ½ C Raisins
1/3 C Slivered almonds
2 Tbs Brandy
½ C chopped Walnuts
1/3 C Crystallized Ginger
Finely grated orange peel
½ C Icing Sugar (optional)
Instructions
Finely chop dates and raisins in a blender, food processor, or with a knife. Place in a bowl. Finely chop nuts and ginger. Place in bowl with date mixture and add peel and brandy. Use hands and mix together until blended. Form into 1 inch balls and roll in sugar (optional). Store in layers separated with wax paper. Keep in refrigerator or freezer. Makes 36 balls.
